Dr. Fridemar Pache
Hi Aaron, and all Diigo friends, just discovered via Aboutus a site for making our interactive reality show with fair profit sharing with the company.
They even support Flash-format, as I can see from their intro.
Must test it first, if this is really true.
By the way I invite you, co-developing a sign-language (called StenoMotion) for and with as many as possible co-creators, who appreciate (like myself) the deaf community.This means, when we create interactive flash movies (in swf), they not only get subtitles,
but also get rest points with NEXT buttons and of course, get incorporated body-language (StenoMotion), that helps to (learn/use/support) lip-reading.
My first sketches can be found in YouTube by searching for one of the following search terms:* stenomotion (by the way a domain, we could share)
* stenografie
* stenography
* fridemar
Stenomotion is inspired by (German and English) stenography (and ASL) and extends (the higher levels of) stenography (that are used by stenographers in courts or parliaments) to 3d body language (actual to much more dimensions in the phase space of body movements and positions).
A subset of these body motions can be mapped into the 2D audio-space (of a screen, in which a finger tip trajectory
is mapped as follows: y (height) into frequency, x into panning, z (volume) into intensity by distance to the cam)
This way blind persons can communicate with deaf persons (computermediated) very easily and in an efficient way.
I guess, the communication speed can be much faster than normal speech, once the system is realized. I even dare to imagine, that it will be faster than reading speed.
For this goal I initiated Aboutus.org/stenowiki.
I publish this private message on your talk page, to attact collaborators in the sense of ExtremeOpenBusiness
(as soon as the disambiguation move is ready, see TedErnst talk page for my latest input).
As you possibly will be informed earlier, feel free to publish this message on your talk-page.
All the best to all of us
Fridemar
