    Thanks! Now I finally know which year we're in :) Looks similar to a bull, so maybe that's a good sign for the economy? ;)

    Yeah! A solid bull year sure will be great :-)

    For those interested, there are Chinese characters in this image:

    * The single character next to OX is "bull"

    * The corresponding characters underneath "Happy New Year" means "New Year Good" ie. also "Happy New Year" - those 3 characters are read from left to right

    Also, this is an image of a traditional papercut artwork. All done with scissors (no knife) if you can imagine that! The artist folded the paper in various angles as he/she made the cuts. Quite neat to see it in action.

    Thank you, too, Maggie, for sharing this ancient art! I am also fond of Origami, that is just the opposite to this art...

    I guess that China had also created the industrial production! (patterns and serial production)

    Here it is the year of the Water buffalo and the tet markets were full of plants and fruit. This is one of the statues outside our local market in Dist. 7 HCMC. waterbuf
