    Thanks for sharing ShoutEm and Twingr. I suppose there is possibly a market for educational institutions to have their own versions of theses popular microblogging services, especially with current "lockdown" practices.

    You've brought up a great point about locking down services. I'm ashamed to admit that I've yet to try these on a filtered PC. My laptop (primary computer) is unfiltered in my district. Now I've got a task to put on my list. I really hope these aren't filtered as I had planned on using one of them in a class I'm facilitating.
