Upgraded process March 29 - Diigo and Delicious Bookmarks import/export... (2)

Cleaned up Diigo bookmarks.
As a new user of Diigo last week, I imported my delicious bookmarks. They were in reverse order and all imported under the same creation date. Ulitimately no big deal.
I learned today that the Delicious export and Diigo import process had been upgraded.

I had been posting all BMs to both Del and Diigo, so this is what I did.

I exported all my bookmarks from Delicious. Deleted all bookmarks from Diigo (scary, make sure you want to do this. I lost Diigo created Lists and maybe other stuff that I am not aware of yet, but again I just got started)

I then used the new Diigo import of Delicious BMs export file.

All bookmarks are now in correct order and also have appropriate creation date. I recreated the couple of lists that I had created last week.

Thanks for the information, Chris. I'd imported my del.icio.us bookmarks into Diigo several months ago, but had been bothered by similar small issues. Your suggestion worked perfectly. I even thought to make some edits in my del.icio.us tags, notes, etc. first to make sure that everything was cleaner in both both places.
