This is a staggeringly bad idea.
To me, the least offensive thing about organized religion is God. The most offensive is the whole church thing - forming groups, doctrines, dogmas, and the like, followed by the demonization of those who aren't members of your particular group.
It didn't take Christianity very long at all to schism, and for the resultant groups to start killing each other. It'll take atheism longer to get to that point because of modern communications tying the world together, but it will happen. I can see, 5000 years from now, conflict between the Atheist Church of Dawkins and the Atheist Church of Maher over trivial shit like whether to button your shirt from the top down or from the bottom up.
