ideas are just a multiplier of execution - O'Reilly ONLamp Blog

This is similar to the idea that you invest in teams more than ideas. A lot of companies started with one idea, switched tracks and became successful in something completely different. Wasn't Flickr originally an online gaming network? Twitter came out of Odeo?

    Commenting on Diigo items

You may notice some comments on your Diigo items. I'm interested in how commenting works here. I love FriendFeed for the commenting and Liking. Curious as to what it's like here.

    What Social Media Does Best.

Another great Chris Brogan piece. Like these:
    * Tagging and sharing and all the other activities common on the social Web mean that information gets passed around much faster.

    * Human aggregation and mediation improves the quality of data you find, and gives you more “exactly what I was looking for” help.

Is a Bad Blog Better than No Blog?

I think it's fine for blogs to remove frivolous, non-productive comments. It does get dicey as to where the line between criticism and non-productive is. Like pornography..."I know when I see it".

Liked this one by Alexander. There's something about "getting" what the value is of a site right off the bat. FriendFeed - that happened for me. I'm interested in some of Diigo's features.
