Thanks for sharing ShoutEm and Twingr. I suppose there is possibly a market for educational institutions to have their own versions of theses popular microblogging services, especially with current "lockdown" practices.

No RSS portlets or any kind? hmmm... it would be very interesting to see the variety of tools they are using to create portals or dashboards for their employees.

I hadn't thought about this type of service being available before for "plebs" like us - thanks for sharing.
